Creative expression can be a powerful medium. When properly facilitated, creating art can become a way of expressing things that we are otherwise unable or unwilling to express. For most people, the stress that we experience is shaped by the perceptions we have and rooted in our subconscious. Expression through art and play circumvents the psychological blocks we have up that prevent us from making better progress resolving our stresses.
Our group trainings on Stress Reduction Through Art are customized to the need of each group. We start with a pain point and our art therapist designs three art-based activities that facilitate an introspective dialogue and then sharing. The conversations facilitated after the activities serve to strengthen group dynamics by deepening empathy and building new channels of connection.
Group sizes are limited to 15 per session and can be done with optional art materials packages being sent to participants.
